Terms of Service.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by Quick Key Locksmith LLC and your use of quickkeylocksmith.top. By calling, texting, booking online, or accepting service from us, you agree to these Terms.
Acceptance of terms
By requesting service from Quick Key Locksmith, whether by phone, SMS, web form, or in-person visit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
If you are requesting service on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Services we provide
Quick Key Locksmith provides mobile locksmith services in the Greater Houston, Texas metropolitan area. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Emergency lockout opening for residential, commercial, and automotive locks
- Residential rekeying, deadbolt installation, and lock replacement
- Commercial access control, master key systems, and panic hardware
- Automotive key cutting, programming, and transponder service
- Smart lock installation and configuration
- Safe and vault opening, servicing, and combination changes
All services are performed by licensed, insured, and background-checked employees of Quick Key Locksmith. We do not subcontract work to third parties.
Quotes and pricing
We provide a firm price quote by SMS before dispatching a technician. That quote becomes your binding price for the described work. We do not add truck fees, dispatch fees, after-hours surcharges, weekend surcharges, or holiday surcharges.
When the price might change
The only circumstances under which your price may change are:
- Additional work is requested — you ask for services beyond what was quoted, and you approve the additional charge in writing.
- On-site conditions differ materially from the description — the lock, door, or safe is in a condition significantly different from what was described on the call, and you approve an adjusted quote before we continue.
- Parts or hardware differ from expectation — the required hardware is different from what was assumed in the quote, and you approve the change.
Payment terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless you have an approved commercial account with Net-30 terms. We accept:
- Cash (USD)
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Apple Pay and Google Pay
- Business checks for approved commercial accounts
We do not charge a surcharge for card payments. A $35 returned-payment fee applies to any bounced check or reversed card transaction.
Commercial accounts
Verified commercial accounts may be invoiced Net-30 upon completion of a signed service agreement, W-9 on file, and business credit check for accounts over $5,000 per month. Late payments beyond 30 days accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Texas law, whichever is lower.
Cancellation & rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time before a technician is dispatched, at no charge. Just call +1 (346) 366-7559 with your booking reference.
If a technician is already en route and you cancel, a $45 travel fee applies for jobs inside the Beltway, or $65 for jobs outside the Beltway. This covers the technician's fuel and time. The fee is waived if the cancellation is due to a safety concern, severe weather, or a documented emergency on your end.
Warranty
All labor performed by Quick Key Locksmith is warranted against defects in workmanship for 90 calendar days from the date of service. If a lock, safe, or key we serviced fails due to our work within that window, we will return and repair or replace the affected component at no charge for labor.
Hardware and parts supplied by us carry the full manufacturer warranty — typically one to five years depending on the brand and finish. Manufacturer warranty claims are filed by us on your behalf.
What the warranty does not cover
- Damage caused by forced entry, vandalism, or attempted break-in
- Damage caused by modification or disassembly by a third party
- Normal wear over time — including batteries in electronic locks
- Locks or safes that were already compromised at the time of service
- Customer-supplied parts or hardware
Customer responsibilities
To provide service legally and safely, we require the following from you:
- Proof of identity and occupancy — a government-issued photo ID and one document proving you live at, rent, own, or work at the location we service.
- Safe access to the work area — a clear, safe, well-lit area for the technician to work.
- Accurate service description — an accurate description of the lock, door, vehicle, or safe to the best of your ability when booking.
- Disclosure of hazards — anything on-site that could affect technician safety, including aggressive pets, unsafe structures, or hazardous materials.
If we arrive on-site and cannot verify occupancy or cannot safely complete the work, we reserve the right to refuse service. A $45 travel fee applies in those cases.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Texas law, Quick Key Locksmith's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or (b) $1,000.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or lost opportunity, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by Texas law.

Dispute resolution
If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at [email protected] or +1 (346) 366-7559. We resolve the vast majority of disputes within five business days through direct conversation.
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Harris County, Texas, before pursuing litigation. Mediation costs are shared equally. If mediation fails, the dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and both parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction there.
Class action waiver: to the extent permitted by law, you and Quick Key Locksmith agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class, collective, or representative action.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Work orders already in progress are governed by the Terms in effect on the date the work order was created.
