Accessibility Statement.
Quick Key Locksmith LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all people, including those with disabilities. We are continuously improving the user experience of quickkeylocksmith.top and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our in-person and phone services as well.
Our commitment
Locksmith services matter most when people are locked out, stranded, or in a security crisis. That's exactly when a barrier to accessing our website or our phone line is most painful. We take accessibility seriously because our customers depend on it being easy to reach us.
We are committed to:
- Meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard across our website
- Ensuring our phone dispatch line is answered by a live human being, not an automated menu that traps callers
- Training our technicians to communicate clearly with customers who have visual, hearing, cognitive, or mobility disabilities
- Responding to accessibility reports within five business days
Conformance standard
Our website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG 2.1 is the internationally recognized standard for digital accessibility, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Level AA conformance addresses the four principles of accessibility: content must be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
We self-assess against WCAG 2.1 AA on a quarterly basis and use the results to prioritize fixes in our development backlog.
Accessibility features
The following accessibility features are active on quickkeylocksmith.top:
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element on the site can be reached and activated using keyboard only, with a visible focus indicator.
- Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic tags throughout.
- Alternative text — every meaningful image has descriptive alt text.
- Color contrast — text and essential UI elements meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Resizable text — site layout remains usable when text is scaled up to 200%.
- Skip-to-content link — lets keyboard users jump past the navigation straight to page content.
- Form labels — every form input has an associated, programmatically-linked label.
- Reduced motion support — users who prefer reduced motion get a version of the site without auto-playing animations.
- Responsive design — layout adapts to any screen size or zoom level.
- No flashing content — we do not use content that flashes more than three times per second.
Assistive tech tested
We test our website with the following assistive technologies and configurations:
- NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) with Mozilla Firefox
- JAWS (Job Access With Speech) with Google Chrome
- VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack on Android
- Keyboard-only navigation on Windows and macOS
- Browser zoom up to 200%
Testing is performed by our internal team and, where budget allows, through external audits by accessibility consultants.
Known limitations
We are honest that no website is 100% accessible. Current known limitations include:
- Interactive map — the Leaflet-based coverage map requires JavaScript and is difficult to navigate fully with screen readers. A text-based alternative list of all service areas is provided on the Service Areas page.
- Third-party booking flows — our online booking form is built in-house and accessible, but if a payment processor's interface is used in a specific scenario, that flow may have limitations we do not control.
- Legacy PDF documents — some older warranty and insurance documents may not be fully tagged for accessibility. If you need an accessible version of any document, contact us and we will provide one.
We maintain a prioritized accessibility backlog and address known issues on a rolling basis. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please tell us using the contact information below.
In-person & phone accessibility
Accessibility isn't just about our website. Here's how we approach accessibility in our services:
- Live phone dispatch — a real human answers every call. There is no phone tree, no hold music maze, and no voice menu that requires pressing specific keys.
- SMS communication — for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing, we can handle the entire dispatch conversation by text message, including the price quote and confirmation.
- Technician training — our technicians receive annual training on communicating clearly with customers who have visual, hearing, cognitive, or mobility disabilities.
- Service animal accommodation — service animals are welcome at all our depots and on all service calls.
- Wheelchair-accessible hub — our Katy Freeway Service Rd dispatch hub has accessible parking and step-free entry.
- Reading aloud — technicians can read all quotes, invoices, and warranty documents out loud on request.
